Pork Guisado with Pineapple and Raisins

Guisado meaning sauteed.


4 cloves garlic minced
1 onion chopped
500g ground pork
1 chicken bouillon cube
2 potato cut into small cubes
1 carrot cut into small cubes
3 tablespoon raisins
1 can pineapple tidbits
pineapple syrup from the can
1/2 cup water
liquid seasoning
salt and pepper


1. Saute onions and garlic in oil. You can use oil from the rendered bacon to add flavor. Then add the ground pork and brown the meat a bit. Drizzle liquid seasoning and put in chicken bouillon cube.

2.Pour in the pineapple syrup and water. Once boiled, add potatoes soaked in water then the carrots and raisins. Allow to simmer for about 25 minutes til the meat is properly cooked. Finally add the pineapple tidbits. Season with salt and pepper.
